New in Urban, what should I do?Welcome onboard! We kindly ask you to register on www.urbanriders.com or the mobile app available in App Store. Then, feel free to book your first class. After that you only need to come 15 minutes in advance of the class to make the arrangements.

 

What should I take with me to the class?
You’re kindly advised to take with you your lightest sportswear since it will be too warm inside.

 

What are cycling shoes? What are Cycling shoes? Where can I buy them?
Cycling shoes are special design for this activity. You can find your shoes available at the reception before the class for free.

 

In what way are Indoor Cycling shoes different from ordinary trainers?
Shoes available to you before the class lock in the pedal, ensuring a more comfortable and secure riding position for you. Also, it makes it easier for you to train the targeted group of muscles every time you step on the pedal.

 

What is the class duration?
Total class duration is 40 minutes.

 

How much calories are burnt per class?
It depends on the weight and fat ratio of the Rider, but we aim about 500-700 calories.

 

What makes Urban Riders different from any other sports hall?
Urban Riders is more than just a sports hall. This training method that involves both dance and sports is a full-body workout.

 

What is the cost of a class at the Urban Riders?
One class costs 90 TL. Please click the prices section for the price packages.

 

What should I eat before / after the training session?
Before the training session, you may have a half a cup of coffee or half a banana for energy intake. After the training session, you may consume food rich in protein for your body recovery. Keep in mind that each metabolism is different, and the eating habits of individuals must be different according to the objectives. We would kindly remind you that the recommendations above are standard info.

What if I can’t perform well in the class? It’s been a while since I last took exercise…
The best part of Indoor Cycling is that it can be adapted to any level. You can adjust your resistance and catch the rhythm in time. You’ll be stronger and more confident next time. We recommend Beginners to catch their rhythm and enjoy.

 

Is there a change room?
There are change rooms for ladies and gentlemen at Urban Riders studio. We provide the shoes and a locker to put your things in. It has a password that you can only choose.

 

Should I take a towel with me to Urban Riders?
We recommend you take your towel with you.

 

Is there water available? Should I bring some?
Water sales is available at our studios, one bottle costs 5 TL. If you wish to take your flask, feel free to use our water dispenser.

 

Can the saddle be more comfortable?
At first, bike may feel uncomfortable. You may consider biking shorts with pads. In time, your bike will be your second home.

 

Is it good for pregnant women?
We recommend you consult your doctor before the class.

 

Is there an area at your studio to leave our kids?
Unfortunately, not.

 

We consider taking our first class with friends, should we open separate accounts?
Yes, each rider should have their own account and bike. Each rider can only have one bike. Please note that you can’t pick a bike for someone else or transfer yours to someone else.

 

Can I book one class and transfer it to another rider later?
No, your booking is personal and is not transferable.

 

Can I cancel my class and get a refund?
No, there is no refund available for the booked class in your selected location. You may cancel your booking according to the cancellation terms and take the class later.

 

What is the Cancellation Policy?
If you can’t take the class you’ve booked, we ask you to cancel it online or using the app, one day before the class no later than 5 pm. Otherwise, only 1 class is taken off your package.

 

What are the rules of the studio?
-Please don’t forget to leave your phone at the reception and turn off the screen of your smart watch so as not to interrupt the studio experience.
-Meet the riders but leave the chat for later. Just focus on yourself, you’re the only one to contact with during the studio time.
-We all sweat here but we are very careful about personal hygiene.
-You may slow down if you’re tired but don’t ever stop! Please note that there is more energy than you may imagine inside.
-If you are ready to get out of your comfort zone, let’s take you to the studio. The “real you” are waiting to be discovered inside!
2-dose vaccination is required for entrance to our studio. This rule also applies to our special PT classes. Please show your Vaccination details over HES application before your entrance to the studio.
